Alexander Bublik confidently reached the quarterfinals of the tournament in Marseille

 

The 50th racket of the world, Kazakh tennis player Alexander Bublik made it to the quarterfinals of the ATP-250 tournament in Marseille (France), beating the Frenchman Gregoire Barrera (58th racket of the world).

Alexander Bublik won a landslide victory with a score of 6:4, 6:2. The meeting lasted 1 hour 4 minutes. Bublik fired seven times, made one double fault and did not earn a single break point. Barrera has zero aces, two double faults and one realized break point out of four.

In the next round, Bublik will fight the winner of the match Grigor Dimitrov (Bulgaria) – Gijs Brouwer (Netherlands). The total prize pool of the tournament in Marseille was €707,510. Its defending champion is Russian Andrey Rublev, who will play in Doha this week.
