Karen Khachanov confidently beat the 84th racket of the world and reached the third round of the Australian Open

Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov (20th racket of the world) beat Australian Jason Kubler (84th racket of the world) in the second round match of the Australian Open.

Karen Khachanov won with a score of 6:4, 5:7, 6:4, 6:3. The duration of the match was 2 hours 53 minutes. On account of Kubler 12 aces, two double faults and two implemented break points out of five. Khachanov filed right through 14 times, made two double faults and converted five out of nine possible break points.

In the third round, Khachanov will meet with American Francis Tiafoe (17th racket of the world).

The Australian Open runs from 16 to 28 January. The total prize fund of the tournament is $51 million. The current winner of the tournament is Rafael Nadal.
