Novak Djokovic defeated Grigor Dimitrov in three sets and reached the 1/8 Australian Open – 2023

21-time Grand Slam champion, former world number one Serbian Novak Djokovic confidently reached the 1/8 finals of the Australian Open – 2023.

In the third round match, Djokovic (4) defeated the representative of Bulgaria Grigor Dimitrov (27) with a score of 7:6 (9:7), 6:3, 6:4. It is noteworthy that during the match, Novak twice called a doctor to the court due to problems with his hip.

The duration of the duel between Djokovic and Dimitrov was 3 hours and 7 minutes. Djokovic fired 10 times, made two double faults and converted 5 break points out of 12. Dimitrov scored 15 aces, four double faults and realized three break points out of eight.

In the next round, Djokovic will face Australian Alex de Minor (22).
