The 90th racket of the world, 36-year-old German tennis player Laura Siegemund made it into the main draw of the WTA-1000 tournament in Miami (USA).
The German won 18 games in a row. In the semi-final match of the qualifying tournament, Siegemund defeated the 183rd racket of the world, American Robin Montgomery (6:0, 6:0), and in the final, the 109th racket of the world, Latvian Daria Semenista (6:0, 6:2).
At this tournament, Laura Siegemund broke a streak of three defeats.

The current winner is Czech tennis player Petra Kvitova, who beat Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina in the final of last year’s tournament (7:6 (16:14), 6:2).
