Paula Badosa advances to fourth round of US Open, saving her opponent’s match point
World No. 29 Spanish tennis player Paula Badosa has advanced to the fourth round of the 2024 US Open. In the third round match, the Spaniard won a strong-willed victory over Romanian Elena-Gabriela Ruse (No. 122 in the WTA ranking) with a score of 4:6, 6:1, 7:6 (10-8). In the decisive set, Badosa saved one match point of her opponent.
