Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner told what he is most proud of in the completed ATP season.
“Honestly, I think there are a lot of positives. I had some errors. We have resolved most of the issues. We were trying to find out how my body worked. This season we worked a little more. We missed some tournaments to work. I think we are doing everything right. I think, especially in the second half of the year, mentally I was much, much stronger. I didn’t complain much when things didn’t go my way. I think things like this matter.
Obviously, every player is different. I can be proud of the way my team and I work together. My team, they know me now probably better than anyone else because we spend a lot of time together with them. It’s something like a family. We all got to know each other a little better. In some tournaments you have a house. You are practically together 24/7. It’s really very good that we understand each other very well. I think this is also very important. As you said, one of the things I can be really happy about is that I have played many, many important matches in the biggest stadiums that we have throughout the year. I hope this will help next season,” Sinner said at a press conference.
Let us remind you that Sinner reached the final of the ATP Final Tournament, where he lost to the Serbian Novak Djokovic.
