Wimbledon 2022 finalist, Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios reacted sharply to the words of six-time Grand Slam winner and former world number one German Boris Becker regarding the decline in the results of Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in the second half of the 2023 season.
“My favorite saying in this context is: “Locker rooms never sleep.” This means that the other players understood what they had to do to defeat him. That’s the whole point. The others progressed, but Alcaraz did not,” Becker said earlier.
“Aaaand Alcaraz would destroy Becker… Next,” Kyrgios wrote on his social networks.
