Tipsarevic: Djokovic is the best tennis player of all time. And the best this year
The playing captain of the Serbian national team at the North Palmyra Trophies tournament, Janko Tipsarevic, spoke about his compatriot Novak Djokovic, who ended the year with a victory at the ATP Final Tournament.
Djokovic failed to play at all the Grand Slam tournaments this season, as he refused to be vaccinated against the coronavirus and for this reason was not allowed by the organizers.
“In my opinion, firstly, Novak Djokovic is the best tennis player of all time and, secondly, the best this year. The problem he faced with deciding not to get vaccinated didn’t stop him: he won six or seven tournaments and finished in the top 5 in 2022. For me, he is still the best tennis player in the world, ”Tipsarevich said in an interview with the correspondent of the Championship, Sofia Kolodkina.
