World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz withdraws from Acapulco due to injury

The second racket of the world, champion of the US Open – 2022, Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz in his social networks said that he would not be able to take part in the ATP-500 category tournament in Acapulco (Mexico) on hard due to an injury.

“Unfortunately, I will not be able to play in Acapulco. Based on the tests we ran this morning, I have a grade one hamstring sprain. Because of this, I won’t be able to play for the next few days. Carlos recently won the tournament in Buenos Aires (Argentina), and also reached the final at the tournament in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), where he lost to Briton Cameron Norrie, who took revenge for the Buenos Aires final. Both of these competitions were held on clay. Note that the Briton also withdrew from the tournament in Acapulco.
