The 2020 Olympic champion in singles, the fourth racket of the world, German tennis player Alexander Zverev reached the semi-finals of Roland Garros 2024.
In the quarterfinal match, Zverev (4) defeated the 11th racket of the world, Australian representative Alex de Minaur (11), with a score of 6:4, 7:6 (7:5), 6:4.
Zverev’s meeting with de Minaur lasted 3 hours and 2 minutes. Within its framework, Zverev served twice, made five double faults and converted five break points out of six earned. De Minaur has three aces, four double faults and three converted break points out of eight.
For access to his debut Roland Garros final, Zverev will fight with the seventh racket of the world, Norwegian Casper Ruud (7), who twice reached the decisive matches of a clay major, including last year.
