Iga Świątek Launches Charity Foundation to Support Young Polish Athletes

Six-time Grand Slam champion and current World No. 2, Polish tennis star Iga Świątek, has announced the creation of a charitable foundation dedicated to supporting young athletes in Poland.

“This project is very important to me because it combines my experience as an athlete with the opportunity to genuinely support young talents.

Tennis has given me recognition, and with that, the ability to influence issues that truly matter to me. I want to use this opportunity to help make the world a better place—sometimes in small ways, sometimes in big ones. I can’t help everyone who needs support, but I will do everything I can, on and off the court, to make at least some difference,” Świątek said in a statement to Tennis.com.

About the Program

  • Open to applicants aged 15–22

  • Designed for athletes competing in Olympic sports who have the potential to represent Poland internationally

  • Five selected participants will receive mentorship from Świątek’s team as well as approximately $140,000 in funding to advance their careers

This initiative reflects Świątek’s growing role as not only a global tennis icon but also a strong advocate for the development of future generations of athletes in Poland.
