Australian Open 2024 champion, world number two, Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner extended his winning streak at Grand Slam tournaments to 10 matches.
Today, May 31, Yannick won his 10th straight major match in 2024. This happened in the third round of Roland Garros 2024. The Italian beat Russian Pavel Kotov with a score of 6:4, 6:4, 6:4.
Interestingly, Sinner became only the third tennis player (counting since 2000) to win his first 10 TBS matches of the season before he turned 23 years old. Yannick is 22 now and won’t turn 23 until August. So far, besides Sinner, only the legendary Spaniard Rafael Nadal and Serbian Novak Djokovic, who are now 37 years old, can boast of such an achievement.
