World No. 1 Ashleigh Barty has announced her retirement.
“Tennis made all my dreams come true and even more. But I no longer have the strength to play. I gave such a wonderful sport like tennis everything I could. I think that now is the right time to try to achieve other goals,” Barty commented on his solution.
Recall that Barty is a three-time winner of the Grand Slam tournaments, won a bronze medal in the mixed doubles at the 2020 Olympics, and during her career won 15 WTA tournaments and earned $ 21.6 million in prize money.
The Australian tennis player is only 25 years old and currently holds first place in the ranking of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
