World number one Polish tennis player Iga Swiatek became the youngest player in the Open era to win four titles in women’s singles at Roland Garros. Today, June 8, the Polish woman beat Italian Yasmine Paolini with a score of 6:2, 6:1, being at the age of 23 years 8 days.
The previous record was held by Justine Henin of Belgium, who won the same number of RG titles at 25 years 8 days.
Third place is occupied by former world number one American Chris Evert, who became a four-time winner at 25 years 168 days.
In fourth place is Steffi Graf from Germany, who achieved a similar achievement at the age of 25 years 361 days.
